š5:55 PM The next day. After work.
Haruko is wearing a red sweater, a black leather midi skirt, and black heels.
I glanced at my watch for the 3rd time. Five minutes to six. He should be here any minute.
In those few moments, she managed to utter with herself.
Why can't I get him out of my head? He's just one of those many customers who visit the bank daily.
A large white car pulls up next to her.
"Hello, Beautiful! Have you been waiting long?" He murmured.
"Šh! Greetings! I just came up." I grinned.
I kept an eye on Madara as he got out of the vehicle. He wore a black shirt with an open collar and dark blue jeans. He's super striking and has an outstanding style. His jawline is so sharp. He has a strong build with those big, muscular arms. Darn. I need to behave myself.
"You look great. I love how that black shirt brings out your eyes,"Ā Haruko winked. -Ā and many other things. IĀ admit to myself.
His lips curl into a half smile. "Aren't you the sweetest?" Madara grinned and opened the car door for her. "Please - Get in, babe."
"Isn't it a little early to call me that way?" I asked in a teasing tone and continued. "You're playing with fire." He leaned in and gently touched her under the chin to meet his gaze.
She blinked in surprise.
"With fire, huh? You intrigue me."
My heart started racing. I felt his minty breath on my face. His gaze is so intense.
"A-Šnd... This..." I peeped. "How should I relate to it?"
Haruko directed her sight to his wrist gesture and raised an eyebrow in embarrassment and bewilderment.
"You're challenging yourself, aren't you? Or perhaps you are using a seduction technique?" I giggled.
"I like your devious green eyes." Madara breathed and released her chin. "I'm sorry, you're so cute that it's hard to control myself around you." He said in an alluring voice.
I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to say. "Mm. That's surprising, isn't it?" I mocked and gave him a cheered look, then quickly got inside his vehicle, slamming the door in front of him.
Madara smirks and gets back in the car.
~~~
"You have a decent-looking automobile. It's huge. I like big cars and trucks because they're comfortable. What make and model is this?" I requested.
"Big, you say?" Madara blurted, minding something of his own - and then added.
"It's a Lexus LX600."
Haruko stared at him in surprise. "What's so funny about that?" After a second, she figured it out and realized what he was referring to.
I think. Geez, not now. I must shift to the real world, not the land of sins.Ā
She ignored it and mumbled. "God, I've had an exhausting day. I'm so tired."
"You have to learn how to relax, Haruko." He reacts.
"Yeah, but I am not good at it. I always need to be busy doing something. What about you? How do you like to spend your free time? " I queried.
"I am working out," he replied briefly.
I peered at him, trying not to make it obvious. He's so severe.
For a few minutes, there was an awkward hush between them. Haruko looked at the beautiful city at night through the window. She decided to break their silence by asking a question.
"What do you do for a living?" I gazed at him curiously.
Madara hesitated for a moment and switched off the turn signal. "I'm a police officer."
"Oh, so that's it." Hearing his answer, I grinned.
He raised his eyebrows questioningly. "Is there something wrong?"
"No. Now I understand why I can feel your eyes on my back and why you didn't call the police because of the accident."
"Ha-ha. Wow, you're so smooth", he chuckles.
Haruko groaned softly and kicked off her shoes.
Madara took a quick glimpse in her direction, thinking. Sexy legs. Why does she have such an impact on me?
"Ohh, my feet hurt after wearing the heels." I fumed and leaned down.
"You have a se-e-x-Ehem - beautiful legs," it came out of his mouth. "I meant .." Continuing, he commented, "You look amazing as always," and reflected. Your body makes me think such nasty thoughts.
Haruko laughs. It was not just a slip of the tongue. His reaction is adorable. And who told me yesterday that I was considering getting laid too soon? My thoughts caused me to flush with embarrassment.
"Thank you very much," I bragged. "In addition, I highly appreciate your invitation. I can't believe I forgot to thank you yesterday."
"No worries. For now." He declared, looking carefully at the road.
"For now?" I asked again with interest. "What's next in the plan? Would you like to arrest me, Mr. Policeman?"
Madara beamed. "Angel, are you deliberately teasing me? I strongly advise you not to do so while I'm driving."
I scoffed. "I'm very sorry if I violated the rules. You can reprimand me. I wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere in the car." I assured.
"You almost made it, clever." He chuckled. "Actions speak louder than words. So I prefer action over empty words." Madara confirmed and looked at me feverishly. "Your playful eyes stir the imagination," he acknowledged.
"I didn't mean to." I quickly retorted.
Haruko was a bit uneasy.
Then, he moves on to another topic.
"Right now, you're alone in a car with a stranger." In a stern voice, Madara said and inquired. "Aren't you scared?"
"No," I answered calmly.
"Am I supposed to be afraid? Why? Would you like to go to jail for rape or murder? I doubt your dirty intentions." I remarked firmly.
"You're treading on a knife edge and playing with serious fire here, Missy. It would be best if you were more careful. I'm confident in myself; don't be so reckless for the rest of the people around you." He ranted.
I groaned, "I didn't ask for your advice, Daddy Madara. Probably, I enjoy messing with fire. You're generally right, but it needs to be specified. But honestly, I don't care. Moreover, I don't give a damn."
"Aren't you worried about what might happen to you?" He says with amazement.
"Yes. We're all guests in this world." I murmured.
He resumed. "However, this is no reason to put yourself in danger. "
"Don't lecture me, Madara," I told him with a smile.
"Anything you desire, dear." He shrugs.
"I am wondering, are you always so Serious hunk?"
"It depends on my mood. When I'm driving, yes. I'm just as serious as ever."
"Well, that is the right thing to do." I leaned back in the seat.
"We're here." He parked the car.
